Tessier's is Tops!

I am an in-hospital Medical Transcriptionist; two of my associates are Coders. Even though the publishers really need to update it because so much has been added in the 9-10 years since the last publication, we constantly use this book, along with Dorland's Medical Speller.

New updates

As a medical transcriptionist, I know that new instruments are on the market every day. It would be exceptionally nice to have a new edition printed every single year. I personally would buy every copy. You are superior to Steadman's in every way. Please do an update for those of us who depend on you.

DOES NOT MEASURE UP TO A SYLLABUS FOR THE SURGEON'S SECRETAR

I PREFER A SYLLABUS FOR THE SURGEON'S SECRETARY WHICH I HAVE USED SINCE 1995. IT REMAINS THE MOST THOROUGH REFERENCE

Excellent reference for the medical transcriptionist

This is an excellent reference for the medical transcriptionist, however this book is 8 years old and needs to be updated.

Excellent subsections

I am a returning med. transcriptionist. Surgical summaries are my weakest. This book is so helpful because it groups sutures, clamps, positions which is EVER so helpful. It is a real keeper!
