On just another regular night at the University campus, Claire Miller is knocked out cold and wakes up to find herself locked up in the mansion of her kidnapper, Elijah Augustus. Elijah is a plastic surgeon who has recently lost his wife, Kathy, to an unexpected and traumatic death. He is on the gruesome mission of altering Claire's existence and using his surgical skills on her to bring Kathy back. The plan is to reconstruct Claire's face, making it exactly like Kathy's, and forcing her to adopt the characteristics of his dead wife.
