Almost everybody likes surprises, but there are a few surprises that most people dread; the Surprise Demise Event tops that list.The SDE that most of us look at occasionally is the occurrence of our demise. For our SDE not to be a surprise, we need to be prepared for its arrival, keeping in mind that our SDE and any other ones can arrive at any time.The surprise demise is a surprise we need to get away from, and that is the surprise that comes with not being prepared, not being ready for our final event, an event that can arise at any time. We need to be aware that we're impermanent beings with a relatively short lifespan.It should be no surprise that we're going to, or will, or can, die very soon, if not in the next moment, maybe in the next hour, or the next day. Perhaps our SDE is years away; we don't know. Years away, months away, days away, who's to say when death will come by and say it's your day. Remembering always: In the Next 24, I Could Be No More.
