Only got 1/3 way through this one...

I was disappointed with how Ms. Williams kept shifting her timeline. It made it very hard to keep track of the characters and the entire plot. I read until I could read no more and that's very unusual for me. I won't rule out her books for future reading, but I hope this isn't a "thing with her books.

good read, confusing at times.

This was the first Beatriz Williams book I've read. I enjoyed reading it but it was back and forth over the decades so much it really interrupted the flow. The title was deceiving over what the book was truly about. I am going to read one more by this author to see if her style changes. If not, I'll move on.
