Every cloud should have a silver lining

6/12/25-6/17/25 The Summer That Changed Everything by Brenda Novak This is a recently published stand alone novel by Brenda Novak that is just filled with everything you can think of! Mystery, intrigue, struggles, wrongful accusations, lost love, who done it and shocking reveals to who was involved!, the rich and snooty class and those from the other side of the tracks… It was a novel I didn’t want to put down even though I had to have life interruptions that stopped the reading! Even my puppy tried to grab the book to get my attention because I was ignoring him too much over reading this novel! It was hard to stop because I wanted to know what they unearthed next! And how the town wasn’t going to be happy to learn something else came to light 15 years later… every story should have a silver lining and this one definitely did. Lost love was reunited, murder mysteries were solved correctly and the innocent went free. If only in real life some of this could happen to us! And the other side of the tracks folks can intermingle and become the rich and snooty class without the chip on their shoulders. Brenda Novak knocked this out of the park again!

My favorite book this summer

Love this book. It was such a good read, I couldn’t put it down. Lucy and Ford work together to find the real criminal and their love for each other, it really kept my interest. Another excellent book by Brenda Novak.
