Judas felt really bad about his betrayal of Christ. He felt so bad about it that he hanged himself. Why does the Bible say that God had no pity on Judas? Why does the Bible, regardless, say that he is in Hell? Who was Judas? What does the Bible say about him? Judas Iscariot was a disciple of Jesus Christ. He was friends with Christ. He was part of Christ's ministry. Judas was an evil religionist who preached the Gospel and worked miracles in the name of Christ. What does the Bible say about how Christians deal with their sins and mistakes, as opposed to the selfish navel-gazing of evil men? The Puritans and the Calvinists are very Judas-like in their focus on self, as seen in their writings. They reject everything the Bible says about regeneration and the new heart. They are in love with their own misery. The suicidal act of Judas Iscariot, and the false humility of the Calvinists, actually epitomize Satanic pride. They look to themselves rather than looking to Christ. Judas believed that God was incapable of forgiving his sins. God wasn't incapable. He just didn't want to.
