Isaac Johnston is a young man that has lived drug, alcohol and tobacco, 'Straight Edge', since age thirteen. He chose this lifestyle after witnessing several effects of substance abuse and debauchery among his family and peers. Isaac's eventful journey begins when he constructs new relationships with other young adults that have witnessed similar ordeals and how they fought through them to become better people. Isaac over the course of his journey learns more about himself as he grows into a full grown man along with the aid of his friends. This book includes his philisophical creed that ranges from Drugs, Alcohol, Religion, Politics, Love, Hate, Homophobia, Gender Roles, Feminism, War, Sexuality, Human Equality and the Art & Entertainment Industry. Over the development of his character, he shows the reader(s) several original poems and even songs (from himself and favorite artists) that help define his character. As Isaac grows, his faith in himself and peers is tested, if Isaac can prove to himself how much stronger he is than the darkness within him and realize he is a good person, then he is one step closer to achieving tranquil enlightenment.
