Repeating the stories of others. And adding to them. Subtracting from others. As things evolve. As history dictates. The Storyteller is universal man and woman. Passing their stories from generation to generation by word of mouth. Or recording them through their arts and crafts. Weaving them with delicate threads and intricate detail onto their looms. Sculpting them into blocks of marble or carving them in oak. Painting their stories on walls. Until the alphabet is established. Until the printing press presents portable and affordable books to wide audiences. In quiet reflection of our past. Our present. Our future. And what it means to be human.
