A must read!

I read this book on Kindle unlimited last year and it is an amazing story! Jaya -the young woman in the beginning of the story- travels to India after suffering a miscarriage and heartbreak to learn about her mother's past after receiving a letter about her grandfathers last days.. Her mother forbids her yet Jaya goes yearning to know why her mother is the way she is, and meets an older man, Ravi, who holds the details and secrets of Jaya's grandmother and her mother's youth in India. The story switches from Jaya's POV which is the present and her Grandmother's POV which was the past in a time where the British were in India. I adored this book and I have recommended it to many others! The story is truly captivating !
