The Storyteller: The Black Journal Part.1

This is part 1 of a personal collection of poems that I have created within a thirteen-year duration. Each poem tells a story that feeds the imagination and different states of emotion. I'd hope to inspire readers to tap into their creativity and be able to obtain different perspectives. Each piece of writing symbolizes different states of struggle, achievement and everything in between. The title "The Storyteller" is based off the symbolism used in each poem to describe different time periods throughout my life. As the pages turn each poem becomes deeper with more detailed meanings and morals. I hope all my hard work over the years is enjoyed and readers will be able to find the secret messages between the lines. Each work in this collection is a representation of different stages of growth and a personal journey to find one's true self. The Storyteller explains a day by day adventure to express multiple perspectives while adapting reflections of life and how to weather the storm that comes along with it. My goal is to teach different lessons in a poetic way striving to reach and explore the concept of self reflection.
