A Teacher's View

The Story of the Infinipede is such a great tool to use when teaching kids character education, i.e. individuality, friendship, problem solving. When I shared this story with my first graders, they loved the colorful and silly pictures. They also pointed out "hidden messages" they noticed while listening and they all had an opinion of what each character should do! It's such a great feeling to hear students make connections to a text and enjoy it! I recommend this book to teachers of all grade levels.

Ms. Kamke has done an admirable job of combining a heartwarming tale with important lessens with an accessible and beautiful sheaf of visual art. I bought this book for my daughter, and she loves it.
