What a special book!

Where you can find a resource with the essence of all the biblical books (without studying in a Bible college survey course) and have those great masterpieces and contemporary pictures. I wanted and bought copies for most of my 14 grandchildren, and the seminary grads approved and were impressed. Thank you, Ideals, for providing this for my family. KWS

EXCELLENT SUMMARY OF BOOKS OF THE BIBLE WITH PICTURES

This luxuriously illustrated book tells what is known about the people who wrote the Bible. Masterful paintings, photographs, and ancient artifacts retell the lives of the ancient prophets, Jesus, and the disciples. The book's eleven chapters summarize the various sections of the Bible from the early scriptures (the law), to poetry, the major and minor prophets, the gospels, and the letters of the disciples. This book makes the people of the Bible come alive as you read about the history and times of the writers: like Jeremiah, the "weeping prophet"; Isaiah, who foretold the birth of the Messiah; and Amos, a humble shepherd. Follow the disciples of Jesus as they struggle for their beliefs to establish the church. This book is recommended for anyone who would like to know more of what the Bible is about, without actually reading the whole Bible. The pictures are gorgeous! Well worth the cost.
