This book is about empowerment, resilience, overcoming obstacles beyond measure. With all the traumas, loses, and the experienced of the war in Liberia, West Africa, I was able to achieve my education, create beautiful family, and most of all established healthy relationships with friends and families. I grew up in an era where women were arranged to get marry, little girl's rape, the decision of parents which child attends school and who will remain at home because of lack of funds was normal. As human beings, extending assistance to the poor or to listen to their problems should be a human.
