We created green2Go because we wanted to feed our children with healthy versions of America's favorite fast-food meals. Our menu offered beautiful Salads, Burgers, Tacos, Rice-bowls, Sandwiches, Pizzas and extra-special favorites like Mac-n-Cheese, Turkey Chili and our Hawaiian-Style Tuna Poke. What made our meals so delicious and unusual were the fresh, clean, organic, highest-quality ingredients we used and the ingredients we chose not to use and avoided.Our meals are essentially gluten-free, with many outstanding vegan and vegetarian dishes. Our gluten-free, organic Bakery was loved by all; our guests have been waiting to savor and enjoy our Banana Bread, Cookies, Cake, and Berry Cobbler again Many of our guests traveled far to enjoy our beautiful, delicious, affordable, good-for-you food. For almost exactly five years we fed grateful guests of all ages and backgrounds out of our kitchen in Brea, CA. The surprise decision to close our kitchen left so many worried about where they would enjoy such food again (gluten-free, clean ingredients, outstanding house sauces, and dressings) that we promised to write this book to share our recipes. These delicious, truly healthy, gourmet-quality meals have been loved by our guests for years, and now they are here to enjoy again, this time at home We have not altered our menu and recipes, therefore our sauces and dressings and baked goods are 'Party Size' The meals themselves are single-servings.We hope you enjoy our G2G Story and recipes.
