Blue Eye

I found this a riverting read. The characters fairly gallop over the range like the horses around which their culture revolves. Deep characters and the breathtaking pace left me galloping through the pages with them and wondering when the next book in the series will be done?

The Canadian Larry McMurtry

Really enjoyed this book. It's a great read about the interplay of forces between the North American Plains Indians and the early White traders, leadership and important life-values. The author is an excellent story-teller and makes you want to know more about the central characters. He's obviously done an extensive amount of research about the times of this era. I look forward to reading the next two books in this trilogy.
