Sweet, Imaginative, Beautifully Drawn! For All Ages!

This is a short, sweet story of a mouse who finds himself trapped in a book. It's all told by illustration, but the color drawings are so lively, so beautifully realized and so vibrant, that I think words would only detract from it's understated, subtle charm.Heck, I'm an adult **mumble-mumble** years old, and when I found this book in a used book store, I bought it just for myself...no kids or grandkids to use as an excuse. This is a very underrated little book, and I'm glad I came across it!

Delightful and imaginative picture book!

This is a wonderful little book that tells its offbeat story of a mouse who finds a way to escape the book where he is trapped. The tale is told entirely through charming pictures - no words, the perfect way for this magical story to unfold. One of my daughter's top favorites when she was small, and a pleasure for parents too. A treasure that should still be in print!
