The STORK Never Came: A Children's book about pregnancy loss

THE STORK NEVER CAME is a picture book written for families who have experienced pregnancy loss. The book is meant to inform children and comfort the families.

Jess Voepel is from Hannibal, Missouri. She published her first book, Burning the Woulds, at 17 and her second book, Kissed By Moonlight, at 19. She is currently working towards earning her degree in Social Work. Some of her favorite things are: her family, her friends, her pets, reading, writing, spending time in coffee shops or bookstores, sunsets, and stargazing. Illustrated by Alexis St. Claire: Drawing has always been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. Currently, I am attending college at Hannibal La- Grange University to major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. I have a young son that's my entire life. Everything I do is for him. I hope this is one of my first of many books I am able to illustrate. I love science but, deep down, drawing and creating are my passions.
