There were immigrants of every ethnicity, learning how to live together as one people, without prejudice to others, their nationality, religion, race, or their choice of lifestyle. Everyone was struggling and working towards a common goal of a better life for themselves and their descendants.Although the area was low income, it was very vibrant, rich in tradition, loaded with energy, and filled with adventurous, determined, rough around the edges people.
