Three thousand years ago, a young girl carved a small horse from a stone and planted it by the ancient Stones of Carnac. The horse would remain buried for centuries until it became uncovered by the thrust of a warrior's dagger and pocketed as a gift for an emperor. From there, the Stone Horse would begin a journey through history and throughout the world. It would be carried across deserts, mountains, forests, and seas. It would enter palaces, dungeons, cathedrals, and taverns. It would be treasured, reviled, discarded, and gifted as it passed through the hands of kings and queens, saints and sinners, peasants and gypsies, each with a story to tell.
