Elegantly done, and an excellent Stimson Family History

With access to many of the Stimson family photos, the author tells the T.D. Stimson family story (including family tree) starting with the beginnings in Michigan, the business in Chicago, then follows how the family moved west to Seattle and Los Angeles, making their mark on both cities. He concentrates on the Seattle branches of the family, showing how they shifted from a lumber to a real estate, then communications dynasty, and their impact on Washington. Well written with excellent historical and current photographs, it makes for a very interesting read of the Stimsons.
