I did not invent the Steadfast Teacher Attitude - only the name. We want often what we have SOMETIMES - moments when the student is cooperating with the Steadfast Attitude Teacher/counselor. This attitude grew out more than 25 years of Hooker working with troubled and troubling youth - including teaching/counseling in classrooms and special programs. I also taught child psychology at colleges, prisons, and public schools - and worked as a school psychologist.
