slow at first, but amazing! good for beginner readers!

This is a very, easy summer vibe book. It is filled with cute friendships, school environment, teen life, and more. It is very fun and relaxing, but it also has some sadness in it. The beginning was a little slow while getting to know Paige's (the main character) life story very focused on the tragedies she has gone through. The very first chapters were a little repetitive making a little boring for me to read, but I am so glad I kept going! The repetitiveness of the first chapters helped build the rest of the story in such an amazing way! The book is so perfectly written! It does not feel like I am missing information or like I have too many details, it's just great!!! Loved seeing the clear character development through the chapters!
