A beautiful story about love and the best and strongest friend

When writing about love, H.A.C. is unbeatable. Mr. Covington is in my opinion the best novelist of this century to this day and I am glad we stand on the same side. It's motivating.

TRAGIC, MYSTICAL, BEAUTIFUL

This book impressed me more than any new work of fiction I have read in a very long time. The interaction of the three people down through the ages, constantly meeting and replaying the same tragedy, is portrayed with incredible skill and sensitivity and leaves a haunting, unforgettable imprint on the reader. I am new to Covington's works but will definitely be ordering more of his books.

A Beautiful Story

What can I say? I'm a 'biter' for a great love story and this is one of the most beautiful books I have read in many years. It's not only got a Great Love, it's got swordfights and murder and poetry and adventure and all the other accoutrements of passionate romance, but it's not just some run-of-the-mill bodice-ripper or Sweet Savage, it's a genuine novel. I LOVED it!
