First, last and only book I will ever read by this author!

Wordy, wordy, wordy . . . . . Lots of words, very little story. No, not little story, too many stories, was never really sure which story line I was reading. For only the second time in my 70+ years (and I have a degree in English) that I considered not finishing a book. Instead I skimmed the last hundred or so pages. Was a waste of time. If there was a spymaster in this book, I missed it. Supposedly this guy has written many novels. Guess words are cheap. Is "YUK" an accepted review? YUK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
