Spring has come to Hollow Pines... but something is wrong.
After the terrifying events of Valentine's Day, Eli thought things would finally go back to normal. But when a strange blue egg appears in his room with a note inside that says HIDE ME, he knows the nightmare isn't over.
Then more eggs begin showing up.
At school.
In the woods.
Buried in the melting snow.
Some are cracked.
Some are warm.
And some are already hatching.
As the eggs spread across Hollow Pines, Eli and Maya uncover the terrifying truth-one egg is different from all the others. It can whisper. It can lie. And it can use their walkie-talkies to speak.
The voices are back...
...but they aren't the same.
Now something pale and terrifying known as the Spring Hare is moving through the woods-not to save the town, but to contain what's coming.
Because the eggs aren't just hatching creatures...
They're spreading something much worse.
With the help of Mr. Harper, Eli and Maya must stop the eggs before Hollow Pines is overrun.
Because once the last egg hatches...
there's no putting it back.
