Neo production of a group or society is an index of its inventiveness, adaptability, and survivability. Teaching children about all the neos they produce every day helps them to discover that they possess a more interior level of their mind that makes their thinking creative and novel. Thinking is not just happening at one level. Knowing this as they grow older helps them to be more receptive to non-material ideas that come through their higher rational mind, such as God, eternity, afterlife, goodness, truth, love, marriage, morality, patriotism, and selfishness.
