Great author and a great book!

Witty and charming historical fiction about king Louis XI (1400’s France). Schoonover has a writing style that is entertaining to read. An adult book with sophistication and class. King Louis XI is an underdog who dreams big. There is romance and all the many dramas and dilemmas of a king in this book making it a great read.
