⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️... This has everything - romance, danger, menace, excitement, humor. Julia is a great heroine, a helicopter pilot and a paramedic. She's fearless and confident, a strong woman made stronger by finding the love of her life - in a very unexpected way - and starting a radically different life with him. Mark is her equal in every way; a 'typical' hero in that he's a brave, handsome pilot who is fiercely loyal and protective of his team, but with a gentle, caring side. The supporting characters are well-written and an integral part of Julia and Mark's lives. The setting of the story is interesting and the differences between the Earths are fascinating - as are the similarities The malevolent Arcadians are a frightening enemy - cruel, ruthless and intelligent. This is a book that I didn't want to finish reading and left me missing the characters and desperate to know what happens to them next. To sum up, I loved this story and I am looking forward to the next book. JJ1564

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️... My favorite sci-fi romance to date. The author succeeds in doing what few romance writers can manage, crafting a book that is as enjoyable for men as it is for women to read. She does this by balancing both story threads and giving just as much attention, crafting, detail, and TLC to both the romance element of the story and the sci-fi action-thriller element. Few female writers have handled explosive action when it comes to soldiering as well, to my thinking, at the risk of sounding sexist.

The premise behind the sci-fi story I also found quite unique and fascinating. A rogue, with access to a wormhole, is going back and forth between timelines to steal the raw material (real life stories) he needs to fuel his sci-fi tv series in his timeline, which, of course, is sensationally popular owing to all the hard work he's put in to doing the "research." But of course his karma catches up with him, or at least with our heroine, when both timelines collide, and who should fall into her arms but the man she has secretly fantasized about in the TV series, who drops at her feet by falling through the same wormhole. It's a priceless set up for both an epic romance and an epic sci-fi action thriller. And the author delivers on both. High
