Great introdution level book

Having been written by what hast to be considered a "Paranormal Dream Team", creator and longtime host of Coast to Coast A.M., Art Bell, and prolific author Brad Steiger, this book was a must to pick up. After reading the book cover to cover, I have to reccomed this book as an excellent introductory source on many topics rather than an in depth investigatory work. The subjects span from ghosts to UFO's to alternate Egyptology. If you want a comprehensive study on a single topic, Brad and a myrid of other authors have several of those title available. Each subject in this book contains just enough meat and fact to tantilize you to dig a little deeper into each subject covered. Being an amiture researcher on such topics of UFO's, lycanthropy, spirituality, Earth's electromagnetic fields (Bermuda Triangle, Great Lakes Triangle and several other mystery spots) and "truth behind mythology", this is one of the books I constantly loan out to friends who have an intrest, but little knowlege of the unexplained. Everyone at that level rates it as an excellent introdution. If you have studied several of the topics for more than several years, you may want to skip this one, unless you would like to expant your repituar of subjects.

A Plethora of Truth!!!!

In this book, Art Bell and Brad Steiger cover everything from origins of the human species to crop circles to Area 51 to UFO abductions to government coverups and conspiracies to religion. This is a historic look at unexplained phenomena in the universe. Both authors have covered matters regarding the unusual, the weird, and the unknown for years. Here, together, they explore each of these subjects thoroughly, leaving the reader with the facts needed to come to an educated conclusion as to the source of it all. This book has never been proclaimed to be one of Art Bell's "better works"; it pales in comparison to The Coming Global Superstorm and The Quickening as far as sales and popularity. But, it is my particular favorite of all his books because it covers such a wide range and varietal array of topics.

Covers a good variety of unexplained phenomena

I found this book to be fascinating. Bell and Steiger skillfully wrote a very thought provoking book.

Thanks for The Source

The Source began to answer a lot of questions that have been swimming around in my head for a while, and now I'm enthusiastically off to search for even more. My thanks to Art Bell, who planted the seeds for many of those questions over the past year, and Brad Steiger. I'm ready to read more of Mr. Steiger's books, and waiting for Art to write more! I appreciate that the Source is easy to understand and was especially intrigued by the Millenium and Ancient Civilization sections. This is stuff we all need to, at the very least, consider as we realize our place in the universe.

I've been an Art Bell listener for over a year and despite the criticism he receives from the media and general populace, I have to say that he is the most (and perhaps only) honest man in the media -- One who does not let his mind be shaped by the restricted views of the masses.
