Tom offered to help a friend at a soup kitchen to feed the homeless. While there, he saw the need to help people who were living on the streets in horrible conditions. A lot were good people who had just lost their way in life. He felt he might be able to make some of their lives better. He belived every problem had a solution and decided to help the homeless people who seemed to be everywhere.
