The Snowstorm

A snowstorm takes the power out and linemen rush to get it restored in this children's book written and illustrated just for linekids. The story follows two linemen as they get called out into a snowstorm. As the outages roll in, the linemen can't help but notice two children trying to build a snowman. They stop to help them and then head on their way. As the lineman complete their outages and drive by the snowman they helped build, they notice a sign that says "Got Power? Thank a Lineman!" This book is yet another in a large and growing collection of lineman themed children's books by the author. She coined phrases in the industry such as linewife, linelife, and linekid - all of which have become industry terms. She hopes that these books will help children understand why their dad gets called in for storms and how important their job is to the millions of people that depends on them.
