A very different story.

When it come to The Slow Regard of Silent Things, you even love it or you don't. The Novella is set in the world of the Kingkiller Chronicle and follows Auri, a mysterious girl who lives under the University in a maze of tunnels and ruins known as the Underthing. The story follows her through her everyday life as she tries to set her world to rights by placing objects where they "belong". The book is not action pack or plot driven. Nor does it contain any dialog. But what it lacks in those elements it makes up for with a beautiful prose about a broken girl. I really love this book and the Kingkiller Chronicle as a whole.
