By Kris Bock

Readers say: "A light-hearted treasure hunting romp "
"A wonderfully suspenseful light romantic read filled with the old Southwest, treasure, characters you'll love and an amazing cat."

Lost treasure. A missing man. A dangerous journey through the Southwest. And a romance neither of them saw coming.

Join Camie, Ryan, and one very sassy cat for a lighthearted treasure-hunting adventure packed with mystery, suspense, danger, and romance.

Camille Dagneau is beautiful, brilliant, and nobody's fool. So when a strange man breaks into her machine shop in the middle of the night, she's not inclined to believe a word he says.

Ryan MacAllister claims he's searching for his missing uncle, a treasure hunter who vanished while following clues to a legendary lost fortune. According to Ryan, Camie is the key to finding both the treasure and the man who disappeared searching for it.

Camie should send him packing. Instead, she finds herself drawn into an adventure she can't resist-and dangerously attracted to the man leading it.

With Ryan's uncle's journal as their guide, Camie, Ryan, and Tiger, her thoroughly opinionated cat, follow a trail of cryptic clues from the historic streets of Tombstone to the treacherous depths of Skeleton Canyon, where legend says nineteenth-century outlaws hid their stolen loot in a cave.

But the treasure hunt is anything but a game. Steep cliffs, twisting tunnels, and ruthless treasure seekers stand between them and Ryan's missing uncle. As the danger mounts and time runs out, Camie and Ryan will have to rely on each other to survive.

The real challenge may be trusting the person who has captured Camie's heart.
