A beautifully complete history

Although this book is perfect in the sense that it covers the whole topic of the construction of the chapel and the masterpieces within, it only delves slightly into the artistic styles used even though explanations and descriptions are worded at a reading level much higher than the book's supposed audience. Galante's marvelous illustrations along with Giudici's great descriptions make the book comprehensive and useful on many levels. This book is a great accomplishment.
