Intriguing and heart warming look into growing up in New York

This is an intriguing and heart-warming memoir of growing up in Bronx, New York. I loved Raquel's stories of being raised in a strict, loving, and driven Cuban-Puerto Rican family. It was a very personal, exciting journey, but universal in a sense that I connected even though I come from a different part of the world (tropical island VS Big City) and generation. I think most anyone can connect to her stories in some time in their life. It is a true pleasure to read and indulge!
