Historical fiction in pre- war Europe

Absolutely loved this book ! This story kept me very intrigued, with secrets of the Carlisle family, ( main part of the story) with a mix of espionage, done with the assistance of the main character, Catherine (Cat) during pre-war Europe, to ending with murder in the Carlisle family. I loved the depth of all the Characters, some of which you'll hate, and others will leave you in complete Surprise.! This story is a Thriller, that will keep you turning the pages, wanting to find out what's gonna happen next. I seem to gravitate towards books that are set in England, and this is no different, in that it transports you into another time, in a different country, and a whole different lifestyle,.. all pre-war. I have never read anything by this author before, But this will absolutely not be my last! There are 2 more books that go with this, unfortunately they are out of stock ! Can't wait for them to come along.. to find out what happens with Cat, what direction she goes in, to keep working as a spy out of loyalty to the King and her Country. I throughly enjoyed this book, and I'm so looking forward to the other books with these interesting Characters. Highly recommend to anyone who loves a good mystery, and Historical History. Truely enjoyed every word of this story, and loved Cat's Character full of spunk, bravery, and Grace .
