Don Michael Tuliozzi lay face down on the pavement in the alley way, outside his restaurant, nightclub. A drive by shooting left the not yet appointed Don, of the biggest Syndicate family on the east coast, teetering between life and death. Before he lost consciousness, he called out multiple times, hoping his body guards, someone or anyone, would hear him, but they didn't. Actually, no one even knew he was missing, until his favorite waiter and waitress couple saw him when they went on break.

An incident inside the night club that night had set his temper a flair and he had stepped outside that fateful night, to get a breath of fresh, cool air and calm his temper. He had showed his father a new way to turn the organization to a more congenial way of doing business and not show the world an angry group of men. He had been in the process of trying to change the old ways of the "Mafia type, Cosa Nostra" to a less bloody, angry, mob type organization. He soon found out he was bucking up against deep adversity and a ton of push back from the "old soldier" generation. It seemed the good old boys weren't ready yet, to make any major changes and wanted to send a clear, concise message. "Stop or you die"
