Their lives were guided by algorithms designed to enhance happiness and productivity. Their decisions were curated by data. The choices they made - from the foods they ate to the hobbies they pursued - were influenced by a system that knew them better than they knew themselves.
And yet, beneath the flawless surface, something stirred.
