Kasane Baxter is a poet situated in Menahkwesk (Saint John), New Brunswick. She self published a debut collection of poems in 2022 called Un-Inclined to be Inc-lined and has been part of public poetry readings for various events locally in the Saint John region including with Chroma, Uptown Saint John, St. Stephen's University, and the uptown public library. Kasane has a bachelor of literature degree from St. Stephen's University and continues to expand her curiosity into the areas of psychology and biology at the University of New Brunswick, incorporating the knowledge and concepts she encounters into her poetry.
