Homesick

With beautiful illustrations and descriptive text, this book presents a consequence of war that can be presented to young children without being too graphic in nature. The book shows how each person in the family deals with their own homesickness and how Iskander must find his own way to overcome it. A good read aloud for Remembrance Day.
