Delightful set of short stories by Jane Gardam

This little volume of short stories by Jane Gardam is great! I just finished it and will reread it almost immediately. The stories are so well-written and varied that they are like miniature jewels of many hues. There are a number of typos sprinkled throughout (which is a little surprising - I plan to write to the publisher about it - maybe they can make the corrections in the next printing). I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes well-written English literature. I plan to send copies to bibliophile friends as gifts.
