The Sides: dichotomy of winning & losing

Know that whatever men and women accomplish on this globe has two sides: good or negative (win or lose). If a man is going to lose-and he is because everyone does-then why not convert it into a gain?

How does he do that?

I believe that through learning from it. A loss is not absolutely a loss if he knows anything due to it. His losses may come to define him if he allows them. If he stays where a loss leaves him, then gradually, he can get stranded there.
However, he may adapt, develop, and learn from his misfortunes. That, of course, is not necessarily easy. A defeat does not transform into a lesson unless men and women work hard to make it so. Losing allows men and women to learn, but many do not grasp it; moreover, when they don't, losing truly hurts.

Learning is complex during down periods since it demands you to do natural things. It is hard to smile when you are not happy. It is tough to respond positively when numb to loss. It requires discipline to do the right thing when everything is going wrong.
