Plenty of clear photos, diagrams and drawings for model engines
Published by GW Heyduke , 2 years ago
There are drawings and instructions for two Hit & Miss model engines, fabricated from iron angle bar. One has only a 1/2" bore. In addition, there are drawings and instructions for the 6 cycle "odd ball" engine a flame eater engine and a tiny steam engine. Plus, chapters on making model piston rings, gears and ignition timers (points). With this book and a small lathe, a home model builder can build a model engine that runs. If you are trying to get an engine to run there's a diagram for spark ignition, and battery hook up. Many examples of Duclos engine from this book are displayed during the various model engineering shows around the country every year. As a home shop machinist, I can highly recommend this book for any engine enthusiast.
