The Shoemaker's Apprentice The Extraordinary Adventures of an Ordinary Boy Called Grey

By Dr. Ronald Jerome Henson

Meet Grey Robinson, a 13-year-old boy who was recently orphaned when his parents died in a tragic car accident. Running from the police, who want to throw him into an orphanage, he ducks into an old shoe store, and is soon informally adopted by the Shoemaker, an elderly man named Mario who teaches him the fine arts of shoemaking, cooking, and living a grace-filled life.

When Grey starts school, an unusual homework assignment leads him and his new friend Angie into the woods, where they get completely lost -a traumatic situation which they barely survive. Eventually they find their way out of the forest, but then find themselves in a strange land where people behave in highly unusual ways and everything seems to be upside down Frightening challenges, exciting adventures, and finally heroism await them.

But will they ever make it home? A wizard named Srili Zelwin has a plan...
