From the Author
"In a small village, over two thousand years ago, a group of shepherds were alarmed by the presence of an angel that told them that the Messiah, who was foretold to come, was born in Bethlehem that night.
This play dwells on the shepherds' lives and work. It imagines their innermost thoughts and feelings on the first Christmas Day - what they saw and considered that day and as they later went about their journey to see the Christ child.
The play, in poetry form, is biblically correct, educational in nature, and contains a minor love story.
I hope that this play, in various media formats, will be satisfying to all Christians, and they will want to revisit it for years to come at Christmas time."
