The Shepherd Within: Following God's incarnational initiative to fullness of life beyond institutional control

By Father Anne

Have you been hurt, constrained, or overlooked by an institution-governmental, religious, cultural, or societal? When institutions are out of alignment with God, they cause suffering precisely because they obstruct how God desires to enter our lives to bring about goodness in the present moment.

In The Shepherd Within, Father Anne explores the hidden spiritual principles that govern life, the ways institutions often violate these principles, and how God responds to institutional obstruction to bring forth fullness of life. This book will help you better recognize these governing spiritual principles at work in your life, give you a spiritual lens for understanding your suffering at the hands of an institution, and guide you to discover God's invitation to overcome this obstruction to become who you are in God to bless the world.

Father Anne was ordained as a Roman Catholic priest in 2021 in violation of canon law.
