While some of the content of this story is factual, the suggestion that China was responsible for the downing of the Malaysian aircraft is fiction. The hotels mentioned are real as are the airlines. The author has stayed in most and flown with most of the airlines in the story, the town names are real as are the restaurants most of which the author has eaten in. The names of the Chinese and English companies are pure fiction. All the characters are fictional except for the Chinese girls persecuted for their Christian beliefs and the Chinese woman forced to abort her baby. The problem of the difficulty experienced by North Korean refugees is factual The technology is not necessarily fiction. There is little doubt that with the advent of the Quantum computer nothing will be secret as it will no longer be possible to use present ciphers or codes, which we all rely heavily on, in today's world to transact our normal financial transactions. The story does however indicate the real dangers we face with regard to digitisation of equipment, cyber wars and fake news.
