The Shameless Murders, or an Uh-Oh in Ludlow

By Za Mi Go

Welcome to the Lay Low Hotel, where the snow is falling, the phone lines are dead, and the guests are dropping like flies.

In this darkly comedic, slasher-style stage play, an escaped psycho killer known only as F.U. is on the loose in snow-bound Ludlow, Vermont. Trapped inside with a colorful cast of eccentric, stereotype-defying guests-including a cynical cop, an iconic private eye, a gangster, a stoner, a racist curmudgeon, and a pair of occultist preachers-the body count begins to rise. But this is not your typical horror story. The Shameless Murders gleefully breaks the fourth wall, satirizes societal prejudices, and turns classic slasher tropes on their head. As the victims are picked off one by one, the surviving guests must decipher the killer's bizarre moral code before they become the next targets.

Readers and theater groups will discover:

A sharp, satirical script that blends pulp horror with witty, meta-humor.A unique ensemble cast that challenges stereotypes and keeps audiences guessing.A thrilling, fast-paced whodunit perfect for stage production or a gripping late-night read.
