The Shaman Hunter: Aboriginal Defender of the Wild

A mind-blowing novel that will make you appreciate how the natural environment fights to keep itself alive. Also, how the efforts of humans have either helped to sustain the natural environment or tried to ruin it.

This fictional novel was inspired by several elements, one of which is my childhood memory of watching the spectacular display of northern magicians who come to the western and eastern regions of Nigeria, often seen in towns, city centers, and even garages, with various types of wild animals to entertain onlookers. Although the appearance of these wild animals looks intimidating, they were friendly and proudly loyal to their master's calls and seemed to enjoy their acrobatic entertaining displays. Noticeable, were also the lacerations like calligraphy on the faces and bodies of the magicians, gotten through years of playful wrestling with their wild companions.

Other elements include the illegal exportation of some endangered species of animals, such as Ants, from Africa.
