The Shallow End
Aarav is a man who has perfected the art of almost.
It is half-past one in a hotel room, and he is supposed to be studying. Instead, he is losing a battle he has been fighting with himself since November - with the girl in the golden satin who asks too many questions, sees too much, and refuses to look away.
One sleepless night. Two people. And the slow, uncomfortable unravelling of a man who has spent years confusing caution with control.
The Shallow End is a story about the distance between desire and connection - and what it costs to stay in the safe water.
